• Tending the Embers

How winter reflects in us & how to take care of ourselves in an embodied and seasonal way

  • If winter feels like a struggle...

If you find the winter season more stressful and strained than merry and bright, these sessions are designed to help you anchor, rest and reflect.

Winter can be dark, damp and draining. If you find you’re entering the season in full-on giving mode - tending to others, accommodating everyone else and expecting that you’ll likely crash into January as frazzled as every other year - this could be just the thing.

Simple, slow practices to ease you through winter.

    Do you:

Get overwhelmed at just the thought of xmas

Struggle with tending to everyone’s needs/expectations

Long to get back to the rhythm of the seasons (maybe you want to hibernate round about now)

Feel like you’re pushing through and not enjoying the season as much as you’d like, even if you want things to be great for your family.

The course runs from December to the start of February - but don’t worry, I know your to-do list is already more than full - and I’m not here to add any more to it.

  • Solstice Slowdown

The first session is free to join - my gift to you. A pause before Xmas lifts off - join us and make a little space to ease yourself into the season. All you need is a decent internet connection and some space to sit / lie down in (you could even head to bed for most of this).

    Survival Kit

Perhaps you’re dashing across the country visiting family. Or you’re retreating to your bedroom to have a moment away from a busy house full of guests. Easy access to 10 practices to help you balance, refresh, ease your body and get that moment of headspace in the midst of the busy. This is also free, a sort of post Xmas advent calendar of selfcare. I’d love to offer you those moments.

    join for free

No yoga kit needed, you can hide in the kitchen or bedroom and take a mindful pause or movement break, whichever flavour 5 minute refresh you need in order to meet the rest of your day with a little more grace and patience. They’re all things that can ease you post-travel, when you’ve socialled too much and will feel a hundred times better than doomscrolling / turning slowly into a Xmas potato.

    Unfurling - 12th Jan 2026

As the moon heads towards it's dark new phase, this session is about gently reflecting the lengthening days with movement, mindfulness and embodied practices that plant seeds of plans of intention from that place of listening rather than pushing. We'll be channeling the soft power of snowdrops.
